Fresh Gruyère Potato Salad

The potato is an incredibly diverse tuber which can be prepared in many different ways. They are a cheap and simple ingredient that can be stored for quite a while. Be it fried, steamed, boiled or fried — potato dishes work every time. This simple and delicious potato salad is a taste explosion and belongs on every menu.

Instructions
  1. Wash potatoes and cut them into quarters.
  2. Boil potatoes for about 15 minutes in boiling salted water until soft.
  3. Mix oil and vinegar in a bowl and add the spices.
  4. Add the potatoes and leave the mixture to stand for 5 minutes.
  5. Grate the Gruyère and add the spicy cheese to the potatoes.
  6. Wash and quarter the tomatoes and cut the red pepper into small pieces and add to the salad.
  7. Finely chop the parsley and mix it with the potatoes.

This simple salad can be prepared in minutes and is the perfect dinner after a hot summer day!

Our tip: Add a dash of crème fraîche or yogurt to give the Gruyère potato salad a creamy texture.
