This bread recipe is quite simple and can be prepared in a very short time. It is healthy, contains many nutrients and requires only a few basic ingredients, which are typically already in your pantry.
Mix lukewarm water with the yeast and honey. Attention: In order for the yeast to start working, the water temperature should not be higher than 42°C! Leave the mixture to sit until the first bubbles form on the surface.
Mix the white flour, wholemeal flour, salt, paprika powder with the pumpkin and sunflower seeds.
After the yeast has started to form bubbles, mix everything together.
Add the sunflower oil.
Knead the dough vigorously for 10 minutes, cover and let rise in a warm place for 30 minutes.
Form the loaf of bread and let it rise on a baking tray for another 30 minutes.
Brush the loaf with water and put more seeds on it, pressing them in slightly.
Bake the bread in the oven at 180°C for 45 minutes.
Our tip: knock on the bottom of the bread to see if it has been in the oven long enough. If it sounds hollow, the bread is ready.
