Behind Urban Kombucha is Arnaud, a nice guy who has been brewing kombucha in his kitchen for some time now. Joined by Robin in 2014, this fine team of champions have taken up the challenge of adapting a beverage born of a thousand-year-old tradition to today’s society, in search of better, healthier, responsible and above all meaningful alternatives!
Please present your company in three sentences
Urban Kombucha & Les Pétillantes is a small team of friends in love with good things who are pursuing a crazy adventure with a strong conviction: just because the shelves are full of industrial and sweet drinks with a sad reputation doesn’t mean that things can’t be done differently. At the heart of the mission, to make delicious products in Lausanne that are 100% natural, 100% organic and 100% handcrafted.

Because we fully share Farmy’s approach and philosophy 🙂
What changes did the crisis bring to your company?
A significant and sudden drop in activity, the need to refocus and find solutions, time to allocate to substantive issues, the launch of new projects, new collaborations and solidarity with partners, customers and suppliers.
Do you see chances and opportunities arising from the crisis?
A direct result of the crisis is a reallocation of time in the daily life of the company. It is therefore an opportunity to take the time to reflect and address subjects that are sometimes difficult to deal with when business is in full swing. Not to mention that the global nature of the current situation offers a unique opportunity to strengthen relationships with customers, partners and suppliers. Finally, the link between consumer and producer has rarely been so close with a very strong demand for direct sales. An opportunity to improve this channel in order to better meet the needs of our customers, in our case by setting up an online-shop (direct sales) in just a few days for the delivery of our products at home.
