In the highest drying plant in Europe, natural dried meat specialities from Albert Spiess mature. The unique taste of the products is the company’s flagship and widely known. The recipes handed down over generations help to create first-class products from the Grisons, which are characterised by exceptional quality and taste.

Please introduce your company in three sentences

Our Graubünden specialities are produced in the highest alpine drying plant in Davos Frauenkirch, using traditional craftsmanship according to recipes and processes that have been handed-down. Cool mountain air and the constant humidity from the Sertig stream provide ideal conditions for our drying plant at 1505 m above sea level, and this has been the case for over 110 years.

Why did you decide to work with Farmy?

We are committed to regional specialities. GraubündenVIVA – regio garantie is the regional seal of quality for regional products, which distinguishes some of our specialities. Farmy fits perfectly into our concept.

What changes has the crisis brought about for your company?

It has shown us that our daily passion in what we do never becomes routine and we are proud to be able to count on our employees at all times.

Do you see any potential or opportunities arising from the crisis?

We are always working to be innovative and to surprise our customers with culinary delights — my ENERGY articles or Arven Bündnerfleisch, (which are available at Farmy) are an example of this.

Which channels do you use to sell your products?

In addition to the specialist shops, regional markets, our products are also appreciated in the gastronomy industry.
